I wanted to do a quick post featuring my current go-to brow products. This really isn't a very in depth way of showing my brow routine but if you would like me to attach a video or step-by-step pictures then I will do that - let me know!
The first product I like to use is the Benefit Ready Set Brow, I know this is meant to be a product to set your brows but I find that the bristles don't have that much product on them which doesn't really set my brows in place but because I have quite long brow hairs, it tames them. I like to use this before penciling them in because it allows me to see the shape and the way my hairs will roughly lay throughout the day. One of the brow products that got me into doing my brows was the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz (duh! name a person who hasn't been obsessed with that product before). I found that 1. this was quite an expensive product for how long the product actually lasts and 2. I could find cheaper in boots... that is where NYX Micro Brow Pencil comes in.
The brow pencil itself is small and thin, just like the ABH one. The colour selection is way better in my opinion and suites my brows/hair so much better, it isn't too waxy/creamy and it is perfectly pigmented so that you still have control over the colour and depth if you wanted to make it darker on the tail and lighter on the inner part. The final product I use in my brows is the Maybelline Brow Precise Fibre Filler. This stuff is incredible, the wand is a little odd and has almost like a hairbrush shape (bristles on one side and flat on the other), it also has a pointed tip and gets thicker further down which allows for really precise application which I appreciate. I have been growing my brows out lately because I wanted to go for a bit of a thicker shape and this product 1. colours my brow hairs, 2. sets them in place and 3. allows me to choose my shape very neatly and with control. As I said in the beginning, if you want to see a step-by-step then I will do that but I thought a brief description or a recommendation for some good products to try would be a decent post.
