Makeup Geek Eyeshadows | Pinks

I normally wouldn't stray away from the 'every-day nude' tones of eyeshadow, just purely because in my mind, I really can't screw it up! However, after finding Makeup Geek I couldn't resist pushing the boundaries a little and trying a few colours out of my comfort zone.
Makeup Geek have slowly become one of my favourite brands for eyeshadow and I reach for them 9/10 when doing my makeup on an every day occasion.
I get my eyeshadows from Beauty Bay, however they stock limited colours (although it may not seem that way because lets be honest - there are loads!). I have been checking back on a monthly basis to see if they have stocked any new colours for me to try but so far, no luck.
There is the added cost of a Z Palette for these shadows because I do not own any big palettes that are magnetic already to store them. I really don't mind though because I find Z Palettes really easy to use and love their simple and sleek packaging. Their basic designs retail for;
Small - £9.50
Medium - £14.50
Large - £15.50
Extra Large - £20.50
They also have a wide range of other designs in specific sizes that retail for different prices, if you want to have a mooch then you can find them at www.beautybay.com/zpalette

Makeup Geek regular single eyeshadows retail for £4.95 and their foiled single eyeshadows retail for £7.95 - You can find them both (along with contour/blush/highlighters) www.beautybay.com/makeupgeek

Another thing I absolutely adore about Makeup Geek eyeshadows is the colour names, they are so original and beautiful, so I may as well share the colour names with you (left to right)...
Top Row - Sorbet, Tuscan Sun, Bitten
Middle Row - Confection, Petal Pusher, Cinderella
Bottom Row - Spotlight, Whimsical, Cosmopolitan

So please excuse the terrible lighting/swatches but I wanted to show you the pigmentation of the matte shadows is insane! Normally matte shadows can be difficult to formulate and they can sometimes end up being really chalky and patchy when swatched.
As you can see these shadows are gorgeous and pigmented, they are very creamy and apply beautifully to the skin, they also blend like a dream so if you are afraid of colour because you sometimes mess up, these are like beginners shadows.
I really would recommend these eyeshadows to everyone I know because they are absolutely gorgeous quality and also very affordable!

I saved these 3 for last because, while they are the shades that scared me the most, they are absolutely stunning! I was so impressed by the pigmentation of these and the swatches are them dry so imagine them wet!
If you would like to see me create an eyeshadow look using these eyeshadows then please let me know, I would love to do that and show you how I make them work for me.

I want to know your favourite Makeup Geek eyeshadow shades so please feel free to comment or let me know on my social media (all links are in the icons at the top of the screen).

I hope you have an amazing day or night, where ever you are!

Emm xoxo
